Investment: projects with Chinese capital in Spain and Latin America
Thanks to our long-standing relationships with China's official bodies, we are an efficient link for finding investors who want to take part in projects in Spain as well as in Latin America.
Port infrastructure in Panama
OCCHE has taken part in coordinating several investment projects in Panama, managing the financial resources of China's main port institutions and companies and opening communication channels between the institutions of both countries. In November 2015 OCCHE led a delegation of Chinese companies interested in investing in port infrastructure and took part in the opening of the Chiriquí Competitiveness Centre.
Because of its geographical location, Panama is a highly attractive strategic hub for the region's trade flows. Investment in this type of infrastructure also has synergies with similar projects under way in China, such as Dongjiakou in the port of Qingdao.
How we work on an investment project
We start from our investment projects service: a report adapted to the Chinese investor, a feasibility study, identification of the right counterparts through the CCPIT, the ACFIC and the groups we represent, and support in negotiation and closing. We also cooperate with real estate agencies to give the Chinese community interested in investing or residing in Spain easy, transparent access.
